Practical information

  • At this particular event, all preferences are mixed. So you won’t always be meeting someone who has your preference. For example, it can happen that as a cis hetero man you will sometimes be meeting queer people and vice versa.
  • The event takes place in a café, which means that there will be ambient noise. If you are sensitive to this, it may be advisable to bring earplugs.
  • The amount of presentations indicated in the program is depending on the amount of applications
  • You will get a link with all the participants so you can like people during the event. 
  • After the event you will get a list with matches if people liked you back.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will have matches, likes or dates.

You can place yourself on the waiting list or the pre-sale list for the next event. You will find these options in the e-mails about the tickets.

Our event is aimed at non-monogamous people. These can be all kinds of people of all ages, backgrounds and preferences.  This is why you will sometimes sit across of someone that is not your preference.

There is room before and after the speed date to have a conversation with everyone. You can also indicate all these people as a preference in the form that you receive afterwards. If this is mutual, the contact details you want to share will be exchanged.

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by an host that will give you a badge, a little book with space for notes, you will also get a link to use during the event to match with people.
  • Before the event there will be an introduction.
  • The number of people depends on the amount of registrations.
  • During this event you have 3 options: You can apply to pitch your partner/friend/family. In this case entrance is a donation of your own choosing. You can be pitched, also your entrance is a donation of your own choosing. You can come and watch the pitches then you pay 25,- for a ticket.
  • A pitch can be anything, a presentation, a video, a song. Sell your partner in your most creative way
  •  We will have room for 3 rounds of pitches. In each round there can be 5 pitches of each 5 minutes. In total 15 people will be presented to the public by their partners/friends/family.
  • After all the rounds have been completed, you can stay for a drink and a chat.
  • After the event you will be able to see your matches on the link you used to fill in the people you liked. If the interest is mutual, you can exchange your email address or chat with your match.

Yes, we are taking a lot of precautions to make sure the mix is good and that there is enough diversity, but it is an mixed event, so it is possible you will be confronted with straight cis men. We do limit the amount of cishet men to 15.

We mix the event because in our community preference is sometimes very gray and not everyone knows how to label themselves.

In the future we do hope to also have queer only events, but we want this initiative to come from the queer community.
